In 2013, there was a surge in media coverage about medicinal cannabis. There were reports from CBS, ABC, CBS, CBS and local publications that high-cannabidiol marijuana oil could effectively control the symptoms of rare epileptic disorders like Doose and Dravet, as well as infantile spasms, cortical Dysplasia and Doose. These diseases can cause seizures in the hundreds or thousands every week, and they also have a variety of developmental consequences. This can cause a lot of problems for families who have children affected by these diseases. Traditional pharmaceuticals can be ineffective due to Dravet syndrome and other related disorders. They often make the problem worse. Families are turning to high-CBD cannabis oil as a last resort. It has shown remarkable efficacy and is providing hope for many families.
High-CBD cannabis extract is not psychoactive and appears to be more beneficial than high levels of THC. Cannabidiol is another cannabinoid in the cannabis plant, like the more well-known psychoactive cannabinoid THC, with significant research suggesting neuroprotectant, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-ischemic, antispasmodic, antipsychotic, and antibacterial properties, among others. Cannabis oil is also a form of cannabis extract. These oils contain large amounts of concentrated cannabis cannabinoids. They can be consumed orally and not smoked. This preserves the medicinal compounds and allows them to pass through the digestive system.
CBD appears to have panacea-like effects, according to research. Sanjay Gupta, a CNN journalist, released a documentary about Charlotte Figi. Charlotte was a Dravet Syndrome patient in her twenties who suffered 300 grand mal seizures per day. There were no dietary changes or medications that could reduce the number of grand mal seizures. Charlotte’s seizures were stopped after Charlotte’s parents discovered high-CBD cannabis oil. She now has less than three minor seizures a month. This case is extraordinary and not uncommon. Dr. Margaret Gedde of Colorado Springs is monitoring 11 new clients of the Stanely Brothers, who provide Charlotte’s high CBD medicine. Nine of them have experienced seizures that were reduced by 90-100%, which is again a miracle.
CBD is being shown to be effective against epileptic seizures. It is extremely difficult for pharmaceuticals to produce any healing. Yet high-CBD cannabis oil is immediately and potently reducing symptoms, with the only side effects being systemically beneficial – more energy, better learning, improved behavior, and more.
This is not surprising considering that such results have been around for years. As research has shown cannabinoids to be effective in controlling epilepsy, so too is the evidence of their ability to control other serious diseases and eradicate cancers. The results for epilepsy, and other conditions, are being translated to the human body. Over the years, people have managed to eliminate cancers and treat other diseases, such as Crohn’s disease, diabetes, fibromyalgia or heart disease. This is serious and needs to be addressed more.
